The idea

Investor Rating is the leading platform for start-ups to get first-hand information about what it’s like to work with an investor.

Reviews are gathered from individuals who are funded by or had active funding conversations with a venture capital, private equity or other start-up investment firm. So you can read about their unfiltered experiences before you pursue your next funding round.

Every review is read by an Investor Rating team member before publication.

We require the use of a LinkedIn™ account or verified business email address to validate a reviewer’s identity and employment background.

Real relationships

The relationship between the reviewer and investor is confirmed leveraging available online data.

While we are collecting reviews over the next couple of weeks and months, we are building a review portal, where investment companies can be browsed and feedbacks can be checked in detail.

It all started..

In a Slack group! When Dennis suggested a portal where founders could get objective insight into what it's like to work with an investor, Dan agreed the idea had massive potential.  They decided a review platform was the answer and drawing on Dan's experience leading the US launch of the employer branding and review site Kununu, Investor Ratings was born.
